Thank you for your interest in Big Brothers of Rhode Island for your child. Please print and fill out the questionnaire below and forward it to us.
The Big Brothers of Rhode Island has been providing mentorships for fatherless boys throughout the State of Rhode Island since 1952. The purpose of a Big Brother is to give a fatherless boy the opportunity to further his growth and development through a friendship with a man he can emulate.
Our Little Brothers range in age from 7 to 14 years. Little Brothers are matched according to compatible interests and personality. The group activities we offer for our Little Brothers include an annual Christmas Party, Bowling Party and Fishing Derby.
Please be advised that the purpose of this questionnaire is to determine whether or not your son qualifies for our program. You will be notified to this effect shortly after the questionnaire has been received by our office. You will also be informed at that time about the next steps to place your son on our waiting list.
Our Big Brother mentors are volunteers from within our state, and we are always in need of them. We presently have a waiting list of youngsters from every city and town in the State of Rhode Island. Although this waiting list is rather large at this time, it is very important that this first step be taken so that your son can be considered for a match as soon as possible.
